Durdle Door is one of the most iconic landmarks in England, and you shouldn’t miss visiting this place when you are in the UK. It is situated on the Lulworth Estate in south Dorset and is part of the famous Jurassic Coast. This magnificent limestone arch formed when waves eroded a large rock, creating a hole in the middle. The name “Durdle” means to pierce, bore, or drill, hence the name Durdle Door.
